Our first and most important goal in framing your needle art is preservation. We can frame it with or without mats, with or without glass, and with or without batting. The choice is yours. We use our experience as a conservation framer to make recommendations that will help you to make the best choices. We always use acid-free matboards, and we recommend conservation glass that filters out UV rays and will protect your artwork from fading. Glass is never put directly on the needlework but is separated by either matboards or a spacer.
Your needlework is not glued; it is always stretched and pinned to acid-free foamboard with stainless steel pins.
Our careful handling of your needlework will protect it so that it can be enjoyed by future generations, and our goal is to help you to select framing that will enhance your work.
